Make a Lasting Impact
Donate Through Your IRA
A donation from your IRA to the Ewing Forum, a 501(c)(3) charity, is a meaningful way to support community engagement while potentially benefitting from tax advantages. If you’re 70 1/2 or older, you can make a tax-free donation directly from your traditional IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). QCD’s can also fulfill part or all of your required minimum distributions (RMD’s) for the year. Contact your IRA provider to transfer the funds directly to the George M. Ewing Canandaigua Forum.
Leave a Legacy Through Your Will
Consider leaving a charitable bequest to the Ewing Forum in your will to support community programs for future generations. Speak with your attorney about adding the Forum as a beneficiary.
