David Cay Johnston is a Pulitzer Prize–winning investigative reporter and bestselling author of The Making of Donald Trump and It’s Even Worse Than You Think. He has lectured on economics, journalism, and tax policy on every continent except Antarctica and is a former president of Investigative Reporters Editors (IRE). Johnston has been a frequent guest on MSNBC, CNN, the BBC, ABC World News Tonight, Democracy Now!, and NPR’s Morning Edition, among other shows, and was a consultant for the Netflix series House of Cards.
Mr. Johnston is founder of the online news site, DC Report, which reports on the policies, laws, and initiatives promulgated by both the White House and Congress and has published two books about Donald Trump.

There are two ways to attend an Ewing Forum event.

Friends who make a qualifying annual donation receive tickets to Forum events and invitations to post-event receptions with our speakers. An envelope with your tickets for the entire season will be available at a table in the lobby at the first event. Tickets will also be available at the box office of the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center.
