A prolific and controversial writer and journalist, Naomi Klein contributes to numerous remarkable publications including The Guardian, The Globe and Mail, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone and Harper's Magazine. Since 1999, she published four books: No Logo, Fences and Windows: Dispatches from the Front Lines of Globalization Debate, The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs the Climate.

In her latest book This Changes Everything, Klein argues the "climate change pits what the planet needs to maintain stability against what our economic model needs to maintain itself." Her environmental activism has landed her into the center of grassroots movements to combat unrestrained corporate greed and divestment from fossil fuel companies. She sits as a director of 350.org and was a front line participant in the demonstrations against the Keystone XL pipeline.
